Dr. D. A. Satish took his MD in Dermatology and Venereology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 1983, under Dr L K Bhutani, Dr J S Pasricha and Dr R K Pandhi. He taught dermatology at M S Ramaiah Medical College for nine years and served twenty years as Senior Consultant and Chief of Dermatology at Sagar Hospitals. He founded the Bangalore Dermatological Society in 1992 and has led the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists as its National Vice-President. He has run his own practice in Jayanagar since 1992.

Dr. P. Lakshmi Satish took her MBBS at Bangalore Medical College, where she won the Gold Medal for the highest marks in ENT, and her MS in ENT at the same college in 1989. She trained further in the United Kingdom at Sunderland Royal Hospital and took the DLO of the Royal College of Surgeons, London. She has run the ENT day-care centre at this clinic since 1990. She served as Honorary ENT Consultant at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health and at NIMHANS, and led the Bangalore branch of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India as its President.
